How Does Bridge Math Work?

Math Bridge takes place during the summer and provides a variety of sessions that students can choose from. The two-track options are open to students: the STEM tracks. These tracks guarantee that the math concepts that students are learning are aligned with the math course required to fulfill their major. The specific track that a student is within is determined by their major that is listed on the student's Excelsior Classes record. Students receive the same amount of assistance regardless of the track they're on.

Our program is based on a mix of online platforms that offer Asynchronous and Synchronous learning opportunities. Students start with the ALEKS math test that tests their ability to master various math concepts. Based on their findings, ALEKS then customizes learning modules specific to each student. They then take on these courses throughout their time at Bridge Math. Go to this page for more information. Students get tutoring through Webex the platform that allows video conferencing.
